Obedience in action

This week on 115.1, disciple makers shared stories of simple obedience that continues to multiply. From Japan to Nepal, Colombia to the UK, we saw God answer prayer, open new doors, and strengthen His people. Each story reminds us that disciple making grows when ordinary believers listen to Jesus and act on His work.

Rejoice

Osaka, Japan

We rejoice with a family who recently moved to Japan to begin disciple-making ministry. Finding a home near their daughter’s school seemed impossible, but after sharing their need on 115.1 and asking for prayer, a suitable place opened overnight. Their story shows how community prayer builds faith and dependence on God together.

From the Indo–Nepal border came photos of ten new believers being baptised after months of discovery Bible study. Each one has begun sharing their faith with others – clear signs of multiplication through obedience.

Give thanks

Give thanks for encouraging news from Colombia, where gatherings among the Wayuu people are forming. As a well is dug in the desert, streams of living water are flowing through new fellowships – a picture of holistic disciple making that meets both spiritual and physical need.

Across the UK, Peter and his team continue travelling the country to equip others in 3/3 discipleship. From Ashford to Leeds, new disciple makers are being trained and sent – proof that empowerment and reproducibility remain at the heart of movement growth.

Intercede

Pray for Vince in the United States, who began following Jesus in May. After a powerful encounter with God, he’s walking in new freedom. Ask that his life of obedience grows deep roots and bears fruit among others.

Pray for students in North Michigan who are sharing faith with classmates after the loss of a friend, and for young people in London where the response to 3/3 gatherings has outgrown the space available. May both groups see new disciples raised up as they pass on what they’re learning.

Persevere in prayer

Disciple makers in Myanmar continue to serve amid conflict and food shortages. Ask God to protect them and provide for their families. Their endurance shows that even in hardship, obedience remains the measure of faithfulness.

Closing reflection

Each post shared on 115.1 this week points to a living movement: disciples praying, obeying, and multiplying. As we rejoice, give thanks, and intercede, we see how God uses simple acts of faith to strengthen His church around the world.
