Simple obedience bearing fruit
Join us as we look back over the week on 115.1. Be inspired by stories of lives transformed through God’s love and power, as shared by a worldwide network of disciple makers. Reports from Europe and Asia show how simple acts of obedience continue to draw people to Jesus. From new believers being baptized in England to growing disciple-making groups across Southeast Asia, God’s word is spreading and producing lasting fruit.
Rejoice
We rejoice at what God is doing in the north of England. A few months ago, Victoria saw a vision of Jesus saying, “It’s time to come home.” As she read Scripture and prayed, the Spirit led her to a local disciple-making group. Last weekend she was baptised and has begun learning to be a disciple who makes disciples – obedience turning faith into movement.
We also rejoice over two refugee families in Europe whose paths crossed again in unexpected ways. One wife had come to faith at a 3/3 Bible study hosted by the other family. When they were relocated to a new city, her husband – who had dreamed of Jesus – began seeking truth for himself. Pray that his search leads him to know Jesus as “the way, the truth, and the life.”
Give thanks
Give thanks for two new workers in Europe – one full-time in Germany and one part-time in the UK. Opportunities abound, and we pray both will invest wisely where the Spirit leads. In the UK, new groups have already formed following recent training, and one person has begun following Jesus in the past few weeks.
We’re also thankful for a new group in Cambodia that heard the gospel for the first time, and for signs of multiplication in remote areas of Thailand –clear answers to prayer. Pray that each person not only hears God’s word but chooses to obey it.
Intercede
An image of flooding shared on 115.1
Flooding this week in North Bengal, India, has left many without homes or food. Pray that those affected would find both physical help and lasting hope in the God who hears.
Continue to pray for the ongoing development of the 115.1 app. Ask for wisdom for the Advisory Board and for insight and unity for the technical and support teams. May their work fulfil the prayer of Psalm 115 verse 1: “Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to Your name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness.”
Persevere in prayer
Please keep praying for:
New believers being baptized this week in Türkiye.
Fresh fruit from recent disciple-making training in Paraguay.
Leaders in Nepal travelling from village to village to share the Gospel and strengthen new fellowships.
These stories remind us that the harvest grows through perseverance – disciples who keep going, keep obeying, and keep multiplying.
Closing reflection
Every story shared on 115.1 this week points to the same truth: God is building His kingdom through everyday obedience. As we rejoice, give thanks, and intercede, we see that when disciples pray, obey, and go, movements multiply – and the glory belongs to Him alone.
