Baptisms and bold steps to the unreached

Join us as we look back over the week on 115.1. Stories came from South and South East Asia, North and South America, and reflect steady obedience in many contexts. We share to invite prayer and to strengthen simple next steps that multiply.

Rejoice

We rejoice over fresh baptisms across Asia. Reports this week named 17 people baptised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 5 in Magwe City, Myanmar, 9 in Rajasthan, India, and 3 in Telangana, India. We expect there were more not yet reported. This reflects obedience-based discipleship and early steps toward multiplication.

We also give thanks for new disciple makers in India – in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha – learning to lead a 3/3rds Bible study so they can teach others to do the same pattern. Empowerment of ordinary believers grows movement capacity.

Give thanks

In Assam, India, months of patient prayer opened doors for the Jesus Film to be shown in two homes. Ask that Scripture and story lead to obedience. This shows prayer as first work and movement through relationships.

For those travelling to the ends of the earth to make the gospel known where it has never been heard before. In Laos, disciple makers take to motor bikes to make long journeys into remote areas more manageable. Similar inroads are being made in Brazil as teams are venturing to isolated areas. Pray for the ground to be prepared for a Brazilian trip in January 2026 into one such area. There are many challenges to overcome, but God is always greater!

Intercede

Pray for young men learning to pray with the Thai team in Lamphun. Needs differ yet the same faithful God answers. Ask that each one learns to follow Jesus and to pass on what they receive – prayer as first work that leads to obedience.

Children in Bangladesh listening to the gospel

Lift up children in Jhenaidah, Bangladesh, who recently heard the gospel and received prayer. Pray also for Youth Track Training in Kolkata among Biglife’s young generational leaders. Ask that every young person becomes a disciple worth multiplying and is used by God to grow His kingdom through simple, reproducible steps.

Persevere in prayer

In Dadeville, United States, an “event with intent” brought hip hop artists to serve local outreach. Many listened and welcomed prayer, yet few have taken next steps into following Jesus, discipleship, or gathering. Ask for patient follow up, clear invitations to obey Scripture, and communities that form in God’s time – perseverance with steady witness.

Closing reflection

These stories show movement principles at work – Scripture in many hands, prayer ahead of action, and ordinary believers taking the next faithful step. As 115.1 helps share across regions, we keep praying, obeying, and multiplying so the good news spreads through relationships and local ownership.
