Multiplying faith across nations
Join us as we look back over the week on 115.1. Stories from Australia, Europe, and South Asia remind us how God is forming new disciples and strengthening emerging fellowships. Each report highlights the quiet, steady work of movements growing through simple obedience, prayer, and relational witness shared securely across the platform.
Rejoice
We rejoice with a family in Australia as Abby decided to follow Jesus after watching her husband, James, take this step earlier in the year. Their neighbours, Dave and Mel, have walked closely with them, modelling obedience-based discipleship in everyday life. Pray for their young daughters as this household continues responding to God’s leading – a picture of movement through relationships.
Give thanks
Give thanks for disciple makers who are crossing geographical boundaries to strengthen others. From Peter and Jane travelling from Sheffield to Denny, Scotland to train believers in the 3/3 format, to teams journeying to the Andaman Islands off West Bengal, each step reflects the simplicity and reproducibility at the heart of DMM. These efforts show how prayer as first work motivates sacrificial travel and shared learning.
Give thanks also for a fifth-generation disciple in Copenhagen who was baptised this weekend. She has begun hosting a house fellowship, and we pray this will nurture a sixth generation in the months ahead. This growing lineage is a clear sign of multiplication and local ownership taking root.
Intercede
Pray for new work beginning across Europe. Peter and André travelled this week to Berlin and Austria to encourage those exploring disciple-making principles. Ask God to give André wisdom, perseverance, and favour as he steps into a new role catalysing disciple making in Germany during these foundational days.
Persevere in prayer
Continue to pray for the Farsi-speaking community of disciple makers in Liverpool. Their leaders gathered for the first time this week. Pray for emerging groups to grow in strength and obedience, and for believers navigating the challenges of life in a new culture. May they be anchored by God’s Word and supported by one another.
Notes made during the leaders’ training session.
Closing reflection
Across continents and cultures, this week’s stories point to the same reality: God entrusts movement growth to ordinary people who pray, obey, and share with those around them. As 115.1 helps these stories travel securely, we are reminded that faithful seeds planted in one context often bear fruit far beyond it.
