How do I invite others?
⚠️ Important To keep everyone safe, 115.1 is designed as an invite-only app. You must only invite the few people you are investing deeply in and are accountable for.
There are three steps involved in inviting others; they are as follows:
View your invites
Select their channels
Show them your QR code
Before you start
Before you start the invite process, you must make sure the person you’re inviting:
Is in an accountability relationship with you.
Has already installed the 115.1 app from one of the app stores.
Step 1: View your invites
The first step is to check how many invites you have.
Open your app and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen to access the settings menu
From the menu tap the option “See my invites”.
Tap on “See my invites” again to check how many invitations you have available.
Tap on the blue “Invite a disciple maker” button to start inviting someone.
Step 2: Select their channels
Next you select which channels you’d like the new user to view:
Make sure the channels you want them to see are ticked.
Tap the blue “Show me the next steps” button to proceed.
Step 3: Show them your QR code
Now you are ready to show them your QR code:
Press the blue button “Show them my code”.
Ask them to press the blue “Register new account” button on their app, so they can scan your QR code. They must scan the code with the 115.1 app, and not with their camera app.
Once they have scanned your QR code, then they must enter their details as prompted to create an account.
Additional notes:
QR codes must be scanned by the 115.1 app and not using the camera app.
QR codes are single use and cannot be reused. For each new invitation you’ll need to follow the steps above.
QR codes are time limited and expire after 24 hours.
