How do I know if my message has been read?
There are a couple of ways of checking whether your message has been read:
Tick(s) against your message
When a message is sent a tick appears against it when it has been successfully delivered.
When a double tick appears against your message this indicates that all message recipients, whether there is one or many have read the message.
Message info page
Go to your messenger inbox and navigate to the thread you want to know about. Tap on the ticks which indicate whether the message has been read and you will see a ‘message info’ page. It provides information on:
Who sent the message, as well as the date and time it was sent.
Who the message was delivered to, if and when it was read, again with the date and time provided.
If your message has not been delivered or read this will also be clearly stated.
If there are multiple recipients the message information will be provided for each person to whom the message was send.
