What’s the best way of referring to someone in my post?

Referring to someone by name helps keep a post real and enables others to make a personal connection when praying for them. We advise using first names only, as this will prevent the person in question being identifiable, should that be an issue for them or you.
Also, think carefully about whether to use a photo of the person to whom you’re referring in your post. It may not be an issue. Conversely, if they are in a security-sensitive area you may need to blur their face or think about using a more generic photo from the free photo library Unsplash.
