How do I decide which channel to post in?
You should always try to post in the channel which best aligns with the content of your post. So, if your post describes something happening at a state (in the United States) or a county/regional (in the United Kingdom) level, then post to that channel rather than to one which covers a wider area.
The best way to find channels is to use the “Search channels” functionality working from local, through regional to national level. You can also scroll through your “Joined” list of channels, if you’re struggling to remember all the channels to which you belong, and select one that way.
Please try to avoid using “Biglife announcements” as a catch-all. It should only be used for posts which are truly Biglife specific.
Also, if you find a suitable channel which you’re not a member of, please take the time to request to join it, before you post.
