Disciple making training and new faith growing across nations
Join us as we look back over the week on 115.1. Stories came from South and Southeast Asia, West Africa, Latin America, and the United Kingdom, showing leaders and new believers taking simple steps of obedience in both training settings and everyday life. As we share these securely, we invite prayer and fresh obedience so that disciples multiply and the good news spreads.
Give thanks
In a region of India, many people accepted Jesus after hearing an inspiring message. Pray for continued growth and fruitfulness in this area as the Gospel is shared with new communities, a sign that simple, reproducible witness can spread naturally from one community to the next.
Three young people in West Africa were baptized yesterday. Praise God for this testimony of faith and obedience to His call! Moments like this demonstrate obedience-based discipleship, where responding to Jesus’ commands becomes the foundation for growth and further multiplication.
Pray for a couple sharing the vision of disciple-making with believers in southern England. They will encourage those trained in Hope Groups and connect with others pursuing disciple-making, asking God for fruitfulness as they step out in faith, which highlights how movements grow through relationships as believers cast vision and equip one another.
A child drew a picture of herself in prison during Bible study in the United Kingdom, reflecting on Paul and Silas’s story. Pray for growing obedience and faith among children as they learn to hear God through His Word and find freedom from spiritual bondage. Moments like this show discovery learning in action, as children personally engage with Scripture and let God’s Word shape how they see themselves and their circumstances.

Pray for
Leaders from a region in Myanmar trained pastors and lay leaders in disciple-making movements. Pray that these leaders will remain faithful as they equip others to make disciples, especially in areas affected by recent disasters.
A young man from Thailand recently passed away after a long battle with illness. His family and friends have placed their faith in Jesus, and pray for strength as they navigate grief, trusting God’s comfort and hope.
A couple in a remote region of Brazil started a church, but realized their model would take decades to reach surrounding villages. Pray for the people of this area as they begin learning how to make disciples and share the Gospel effectively.
A DMM training session in Thailand includes East Asians eager to plant churches across multiple regions. Pray for spiritual fruitfulness and that new trainers will rise up to lead others in disciple-making efforts.
Training is currently taking place in a West African nation to equip leaders for disciple-making movements. Pray for wisdom and guidance as this work continues across the region.
Closing reflection
This week’s stories show how God works through simple, obedient steps – from DMM trainings and new baptisms to grieving families and children learning to hear God through His Word – to draw people and communities into deeper trust in Jesus. As 115.1 supports secure sharing and united prayer, we see discovery learning, prayer as first work, and the empowerment of ordinary believers leading toward local ownership, relational multiplication, and persevering faith that can touch even the most remote and hurting places.
