Simple obedience leading to new life
Join us as we look back over the week on stories from North America, South America, and Asia which remind us how God continues to work through ordinary believers who step out in faith. As these reports are shared, they invite prayer, encourage obedience, and point to the quiet growth of disciple-making movements across regions.
Rejoice
We rejoice with brothers and sisters in the United States who prayerfully engaged shoppers in a large store, trusting God to open hearts. One store employee responded to the Good News and gave his life to Jesus that same afternoon. The following day he was baptised and has now begun being discipled, learning what it means to follow Jesus and to make disciples himself. This reflects obedience-based discipleship, where immediate obedience leads to new life and multiplication.
Give thanks
We give thanks for 23 young men in a South American detention centre who have completed a course integrating education, vocational skills, and discipleship. This ongoing investment shows holistic disciple making, equipping them for both practical life and spiritual growth. Pray that each man would continue to choose the narrow path and walk in obedience to Jesus.
We are also thankful for four people baptised in Myanmar this week. Pray that they would grow deep in their faith and courageously share Jesus with friends and family. Their baptism points to multiplication as faith begins to spread naturally through relationships.
Intercede
As Christmas outreach continues, we ask for prayer for initiatives now taking place in Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, East Asia, and Japan. Please pray for local groups and their leaders, many of whom need protection as they face resistance while bringing light into dark places. Ask that God would guard their hearts, strengthen their unity, and open doors for the gospel.
Christmas outreach is happening across South Asia.
Please also continue to pray for teams travelling tirelessly from village to village in India. These workers are visiting six to eight villages each day, and recent feedback confirms that our prayers are appreciated and answered. This work highlights prayer as first work, sustaining those who go and preparing hearts ahead of them.
Persevere in prayer
Please continue to pray for all that is being planned and prepared at the new Family Centre in Thailand for the coming year. This week, a Christmas event was held for a local soccer team, with parents attending as well. Pray that the local team would become known in the community for love and compassion, and that lasting relationships would lead many to discover Jesus. This steady presence reflects movement through relationships and perseverance over time.
Closing reflection
Across each region, this week’s stories show God working through simple obedience, faithful prayer, and loving relationships. As reports are shared on 115.1, they strengthen partnership, guide prayer, and encourage believers to keep discipling others. May we continue to watch as God multiplies what is offered to Him in faith.
