Strengthened for multiplication

Join us as we look back over the week. Stories from North America, Europe, South America, and Africa show how God is strengthening ordinary believers for faithful witness and multiplication. As we share these reports, they invite prayer, obedience, and participation in what God is already doing.

Rejoice

We rejoice in a simple but timely encounter in Southern Indiana, USA. Two brothers met Jay, a young believer raising funds in his community. They encouraged him to think about accountability, partnership, and faithful transmission of what God is teaching him, reflecting the pattern of 2 Timothy 2:2. This moment highlights obedience-based discipleship, as Jay is being invited to live out what he knows by sharing it with others.

We also rejoice in disciple-making growth taking place in Lancashire, UK. Please pray for Rob who is taking a lead role in the area. May he know God’s wisdom and direction in the days ahead. This points to local ownership, with leadership emerging from within the community as the work continues to mature.

Give thanks

Give thanks for recent disciple-making training in Suriname, South America. Many more people participated than expected, with multiple languages and ethnic groups represented. United by their shared love for Jesus and His mission, participants were equipped with a vision for multiplication. This reflects empowerment of ordinary believers, as people from diverse backgrounds embrace their identity as disciple makers.

We are also thankful for ongoing work among the Wayuu communities of Colombia. Through training in the 3/3 Bible study process, participants were surprised by the depth of spiritual insight they discovered directly from Scripture. Their faith was strengthened through discovery learning, as God’s word spoke clearly and personally into their context.

Intercede

Please pray for disciple-making efforts in remote areas of the Amazon jungle, where twelve people were trained this week. A local brother is leading the work and plans to visit a further nineteen isolated indigenous groups. Pray for provision for practical needs, including solar panels to keep his phone charged for ongoing coaching and encouragement. This work depends on perseverance and wise support.

Pray also for African brothers who travelled to Durban, South Africa, seeking people of peace. Ask God to establish strong relationships that will allow meaningful, long-term disciple-making work to begin, grounded in movement through relationships.

Persevere in prayer

In West Africa, local leaders recently visited an island in Ghana of about 350 people with no medical facilities or gathering of believers. They shared the gospel and health education with 51 adults and 26 children, identifying a school teacher as a potential person of peace. Pray for this individual and the whole village, that God would open hearts to the gospel.

Closing reflection

This week’s stories remind us that God advances His kingdom through faithful people who listen, obey, and invest in others. Across cultures and continents, 115.1 continues to serve by securely sharing these testimonies, calling God’s people to prayer and participation, and encouraging multiplication that places ownership in local hands.
