We’re excited to release version 1.0.66 of the app – a major update that reflects over six months of development. It includes major design upgrades, new ways to share stories, and behind-the-scenes improvements to make the app faster, simpler, and more secure. Here’s what’s new:
🧭 Improved navigation
We’ve reorganized the app to make it easier to find what matters:
Your profile is always accessible from the top-right menu
Channels are now clearly grouped into joined and managed sections
Search and Discover are now easier to access from the main navigation
💻 New desktop experience
We’ve improved how 115.1 works on desktop and larger screens, with consistent layouts across posts, profiles, and channels. Whether you’re using a laptop or a tablet, the experience is now more intuitive and polished.
🎬 Short video clips
You can now share short video stories (up to 90 seconds). Upload directly from your phone or desktop, and use our new 3-step posting flow to select your post type, channel, and sharing consent.
🔐 Clearer sharing options
You’re in control of your stories. We’ve improved the posting flow to clearly show whether your post will stay inside 115.1 or be visible externally – making it easier to share safely and intentionally.
🔎 Better search
Search results are now easier to read, more accurate, and highlight your matches – even if you typed with extra spaces or partial words.
📬 See what you’ve missed
We’ve added a new feed that shows posts you might have missed in your channels. You can manually refresh it to catch up at your own pace.
📊 Improved analytics
We’ve added new internal tracking to better understand how stories are shared and how features are being used. This will help us improve the app in future releases.
🐞 Bug fixes
We’ve fixed dozens of issues – including video playback, pagination, registration bugs, and layout glitches on mobile and desktop. Everything should now feel a little smoother and more reliable.

Today we are rolling out version 1.0.53 of the app, and it’s packed with updates to improve how you view, share, and search for content:
🖼️ New Post View Design: Posts now look better than ever. Images are clearer and more immersive, with a layout designed to support future multimedia updates—like the ability to share and watch video clips coming soon.
📸 Multi-Image Uploads: You can now select and upload multiple images at once—great for sharing full stories or event recaps in a single post.
📄 PDF Support: You can now attach PDFs to your posts and send them in private messages, all directly from within the app.
🔍 Smarter Search Results: We’ve made the order of search results more intuitive, helping you find what you’re looking for faster.

Over the next few days, we’re rolling out version 1.0.45 of the app. This update introduces search functionality and several improvements:

Over the next few days, we’re rolling out version 1.0.40 of the app. This update has been in development since September and includes the following improvements:
🚀 Faster Notifications: Notifications now load quicker and more reliably, ensuring you never miss an important message.
📱 New App Icon Feature (iOS): The app icon will now display badges for new messages or notifications directly on your home screen.
🌍 Expanded Language Support: Bangla, French, Hindi, Spanish, and Turkish have been added to app menus. Want to contribute or request another language? Let us know!
👀 Post Tracking: We now track which posts you’ve read. This helps us improve your experience and, in the future, show you posts you’ve missed.
🔧 Bug Fixes: Over 90 issues have been resolved since the last update. If you encounter any other issues, please tell me, and we’ll address them as soon as possible.

Based on popular demand, you will be pleased to know that we have removed the 30-day automatic deletion of private messages! Enhanced message deletion controls are in development and will be available soon –watch for updates!
In the meantime, we’re working on substantial design updates anticipated for release early next year. This will enable the app to work with different screen sizes and also support multiple languages. Check this link to see what is planned for the future.

While we are working on significant design changes, we have released a small app update. The latest app version is now 0.37.4 with one new feature as follows:
🖼️ Save photos When someone sends you a photo in a private message, you can now download and save it to your phone.
We are currently working on a more user-friendly app design with an improved navigation system. This will also work better on mobile devices with larger screens and enable us to improve the messenger functions and add new languages. Planned for release at the end of 2023.

Last week, we released a number of app updates for August. The latest app version is 0.37.2. We recommend everyone updates to it. Here are the main changes:
🛎️ Custom channel push notifications Never miss an update on your favorite channels again. You can now pick and choose individual channels from which to receive push notifications by tapping on the bell icon.
📝 Updated push notification text To clear up any confusion, we’ve changed the text in push notifications from “somebody replied to your comment” to “somebody commented after you.”
🔍 Improved message recipient search Searching for recipients while composing a new message is now faster and more accurate.
🔗 Fixed link issues We’ve resolved an issue where links ending with a full stop didn’t work as intended.
👓 Large fonts on iOS You can now use iOS settings to increase the font size, if you are struggling to read smaller text.
🍏 iOS update readiness We’ve made sure our app is compatible with the next version of iOS planned by Apple. Stay tuned for more improvements.

Over the past weekend, we launched an updated version of our app that includes several enhancements and new features. We strongly encourage all users to upgrade their app to the latest version, 0.36.10. Let’s delve into what’s new:
🏷️ Tag users in comments You can now tag individuals in a comment using the @ symbol. Those you tag will receive a notification indicating you’ve mentioned them.
📁 Receiving documents You can now receive documents on your mobile devices sent to you by desktop users.
📡 Create channels You can now create your own channels. If you want to use this feature, please send a message to our Support team who will help you with it.
🔔 Push notifications When you launch the app, you’ll be prompted to enable push notifications. Do this if you want to be notified when someone sends you a message.
🔧 Various bug fixes Amongst them we’ve addressed an issue with searching for channel members.

Last week we rolled out an app update with several enhancements and new features. We highly recommend everyone upgrade to the latest version, 0.35.3. Here’s what’s new:
🔔 Enhanced push notifications You’ll now be notified when someone replies to your comments. This feature ensures you stay updated on conversations happening within older posts, making it easier for you to keep track of updates.
🙏 Post reactions Whenever someone likes, prays, or expresses thanks for your posts, you’ll receive an instant notification.
📱 iOS App notification icon We have fixed an issue where the number of unread notifications was not displayed consistently in the iOS application.
✉️ Pasting in messages We’ve resolved a problem that was stopping you from pasting into a private message.
📟 SMS login codes The SMS authentication code will now be sent from the sender “115ONE” instead of a number based in the USA. This change will improve delivery to countries outside the USA.

Welcome to the latest app update – we’ve made it to version 0.34.4! We’ve worked hard to implement new features and improvements to provide you with a smoother experience. Here’s what’s new:
🚀 Farewell Beta We’re happy to announce that we have removed all “Beta” references from the app – we’re now officially out of Beta!
📬 Offline inbox enhancements Your offline inbox is now more reliable and less glitchy when you receive a new message. Say goodbye to those pesky “sad cat” error pages.
🔔 Unread messages reminder Never miss a message again! You’ll now receive push notification reminders about unread messages at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time.
🔊 Louder push notification sound We’ve increased the volume for push notifications when you receive a new private message, so you won’t miss any important conversations.
✏️ Small updates galore We’ve made various minor updates and bug fixes, such as adding a confirmation message when you’re editing a comment and you cancel without saving.

It’s exactly three months since we made the last update. We’ve been working hard on making the app more efficient “under the hood”. Praise the Lord that today we were able to release an app update (version 0.32.17) with some big changes as follows:
🔔 Push notifications If you have new unread notifications in the app, then each day the app will send you a push notification reminder with a cheery little “bong” sound. (We will continue to focus on improving notifications in the coming weeks).
🖼️ Image loading We’ve completely overhauled and improved the way the app loads images. The app detects if there are issues and allows you to press refresh to get any missing images.
🖥️ Desktop version Everybody is now able to access 115.1 on their desktop computers using a web browser. Simply follow the instructions on the “Settings” menu top right in the app.
🧑🤝🧑 Invitee info You can now see more information about the people you have invited, such as who they have invited, which channels they are subscribed to and how much they use the app.
🏠 Home feed refresh The home feed now refreshes more quickly and the home button is more responsive. Each time you open the app it will automatically get the latest information for you.
🪲 Various bug fixes We fixed a few little bugs with composing private messages, scanning QR codes and sharing Zoom links.

Today we released an app update (version 0.31.1) with various improvements as follows:
✉️ Private messages You can now send a direct message to any user from their profile. Just hit the blue button with their name on it.
🔢 Removed profile stats To make things less competitive, we’ve removed the numbers from profile pages that show how many items you’ve shared.
🖋️ Paragraphs in messages You can now use paragraphs when writing a private message. It’s also harder to accidentally send the message whilst typing on the keyboard.
🪲 Various bug fixes We fixed a few little things “under the hood” to make the system run better.

Today we released an app update (version 0.31.0) with various improvements to how the private messages are handled:
✉️ Faster inbox We’ve made the inbox much faster to view each time you receive a new private message or just come back to check your inbox.
✈️ Offline access You can now read old private messages even if you don’t have an internet connection. Hurray!
🕙 Message history You can now scroll back through all your kept messages. (Note that messages are automatically deleted 30 days after they are sent).
🔔 Message notifications If you tap a message notification on your phone then the app will open your inbox to show it.
🪲 Various bug fixes For example, we fixed a problem that was causing blurry images.

After a busy couple of months, we released an app update with various bug fixes and improvements. Most of the changes are ‘under the hood’ to prepare for scaling up the app for more users. However, you will notice these new features:
🚩 Moderation features You can now report inappropriate posts and comments to the moderators.
🗑️ Expiring messages Messages will be automatically deleted sometime after you have read them. You will see a countdown next to the message showing how many days before it is deleted.
📩 Read receipts You can now see when your messages have been opened by the recipients.
🔴 Stuck red dot Messages are now less likely to get stuck on ‘unread’.
🖼️ Faster loading photos Images now load faster and are displayed quicker in various places.
🔔 More notifications You now get notified in the app when somebody reacts to your post with prayer or praise.
🪲 Various bug fixes For example, no more duplicate comments and no need to sign out every two weeks.

Today we released an app update with various bug fixes and improvements. These are the main items to note:
🙏 Prayer and praise You can now react to a post in three different ways with: ‘Like’, ‘Prayer’ or ‘Praise’.
✨ Edit posts You can now edit your posts, change their channel or post type.
🌐 Web links You can now add working web links to posts, comments and messages.
⌨️ Text input Anything you type into the app will default to an initial upper case letter so you don’t have to keep pressing shift.
🎺 Sounds New messages make a little noise when you receive them.

Hi everyone — Happy Monday! Here is what’s new this week. Today we released version 0.18.2 with the following improvements:
🔍 Search channels You can now search across all channels. Simply go to the channels page, select search and enter a topic or location.
📷 Portrait photos Improvements to the way photos are handled. Photos now appear on posts in the order in which you uploaded them. We’ve also fixed a bug that was rotating portrait photos incorrectly to landscape orientation.
👍🏽 List of likes You can now see a list of all the people who have liked your posts. Just click on the number of likes i.e. x Likes in the bottom left corner of the post to see their names. Let us know what you think!

🧭 Changes to the main navigation People were finding it hard to find their private messages, so we’ve moved the messages icon to the bottom right of the app footer to make it easier to find. Notifications have moved to the top right.
