How do I remove someone from a channel?
As a channel administrator you can remove any member from your channel. Current administrators can also be removed.
Step 1: Search for the person’s name
On your channel, tap on the five small profile photos under the channel description to access the “Channel members” page.
Once on the “Channel members” page, use the search function to look for the name of the person you want to remove.
Step 2: Remove the member
When you have found the person on the “Channel members” page, tap on the menu icon (three little dots) on the right-hand side of the screen next to their name. This will pop up a menu.
Next, you will see the option to “Remove from channel”. Tap this option, and the user will be removed from the channel. They will not be notified.
Note: If your channel is private, removed users will stop seeing posts from your channel in their feed, unless they request to join again.
